I use holistic therapy to help people, which is a global approach to engage the body, mind, spirit, and soul to improve someone in a global way. Holistic therapy heals and promotes wellness that considers the whole person, including their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. It recognizes that all aspects of a person's life are interconnected and that physical health issues can be influenced by emotional or mental stressors, and vice versa.
Holistic therapy can include a variety of treatment modalities. The goal of holistic therapy is to address the root causes of a person's health concerns, rather than just treating symptoms, and to help the individual achieve a state of balance and wellness in all areas of their life.
Several important "bodies", listed below, make up the whole person, and are harmonized by the holistic therapy method to help each body connect, cooperate, and integrate, into a cohesive, unified self.
Physical and energetic bodies: These anchor and balance vital, life-sustaining energies. These are often unbalanced, and working towards balancing these can help resolve many issues.
Mental and emotional bodies: These control desires, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. We need to be conscious of our thought process, beliefs, and biases to be able to modify them as needed for personal improvement.
Soul and spiritual bodies: These link the self to the greater universe and God through the honing of intuition, meditation, prayer, and contemplation. We use these to help guide our internal dialogue to our best path
We are not able to dissociate spirit and body. Holistic therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment, but may help improve medical interventions and outcomes.
